Vajrasana

The LBC has two comfortable solitary huts at Vajrasana in the lovely Suffolk countryside. These huts are fitted with everything you need for a solitary retreat, as well as being not too far from London. Basic dry foods provided. Friday to Friday: £125. Contact the centre to book.

Rivendell

The Chalet is secluded in part of the Rivendell Retreat Centre grounds. Food and supplies are delivered. The chalet has heating, silent fridge, a gas cooker, a flush toilet and electric shower. There is also a shrine with meditation mats & cushions. Rent from Friday to Friday. Cost: £165/135. per week which includes basic food. Book via Rivendell.

Dhanakosa

Their solitary hut is available on a weekly basis from Friday to Friday. One or two weeks at a time can be booked. Longer stays are sometimes possible at quiet times of the year. Suggested donations - Waged £265, Low wage £200, Unwaged £130. See their website for more details.

Castell

Castell cottage in North Wales has been set up specially for solitary retreats: it is remotely located without being far from the A5 and fitted out very comfortably whilst retaining the simple charm of a Welsh stone cottage. Bookings are made through the website where you can see the dates that are available and current prices.

Guhyaloka

Guhyaloka men's retreat centre in a remote Spanish valley hosts three beautifully located solitary chalets, each with a subtly different character of its own. All of the chalets have a water supply, a gas stove for cooking and a supply of vegetarian food. A Mountain Retreat In Spain

Located in the south east of Spain, in the hills behind Javea and Denía, (the Costa Blanca) about an hour and a half south of Valencia. Danaloka Cabin

30 minutes by car from Stratford – door to door! Just outside London yet on the edge of 200 acres of ancient broadleaf woodland. The view from the new 18 foot wide French windows into the forest is just delightful and deer walk past almost daily!
