Taraloka

Taraloka is a women’s Buddhist retreat centre, founded in 1985 and set in beautiful Welsh Borders countryside. We are part of the Triratna Buddhist Community. Taraloka offers a breadth and depth of Buddhist and meditation retreats for all levels of experience.

The resident community at Taraloka aim to provide the best possible conditions for women to come on retreat. Good food, friendly and experienced retreat teams and beauty in the large grounds around the centre. The result is a place where people from very different walks of life find space to reflect on their experience, refresh themselves and perhaps recharge their batteries!
